The first program draft for uxcon '26 is online!

We've been working behind the scenes for months, and now we're ready to share what's coming. Almost 180 speaker submissions landed in our inbox (If you submitted and haven’t heard back yet: we’re still finalizing a few things and will get back to you.)

The range of topics? Chef’s kiss.

Heads-up: Things are shifting fast in our industry right now, so some sessions might evolve and get refined over the next few months. We want to make sure everything reflects what's actually happening in the field.

What's waiting for you:

Leadership, product thinking, privacy, UX writing, research methods, and more – including AI, because it's fundamentally changing how we work and design. We're diving deep into what matters right now, while keeping the balance and covering all the other essential topics too.

  • You'll hear from Emma Schmidt (Airbnb) on designing with inclusion in mind for older users in an AI-driven world.
  • Oliver Kartak (University of Applied Arts Vienna) exploring how web design is finally evolving after decades of sameness.
  • Didier Hilhorst (Qonto) connecting value thinking to design decisions.
  • Meaghan Choi (Anthropic) running a hands-on workshop teaching Claude Code.

And plenty of other voices we're excited about.

You'll get our signature mix:

  • Talks.
  • Extended talks.
  • Workshops.

Plus networking events, experience area, Pulse of UX research, speaker’s corner, get-togethers and side fun.

What's special this year:

For the first time, we're hosting the Austrian ACM SIGCHI meeting. SIGCHI is where HCI – human-computer interaction – started. And this is basically where UX came from. HCI pioneer Elizabeth Churchill, who led UX at Google, eBay, and Yahoo, will open the conference.

We're also dedicating a track to universities and the public sector. They face completely different challenges than tech companies and we want to open a real conversation here.

Being at the University of Vienna just makes all of this feel right. We're excited about the collaborations this will bring. If you're from a university or work in the public sector and want to be part of thislet us know.

We can't wait to share more program details with you!
