The easiest way to get to hotel Kaiserlodge by public transport is by taking a train to Wörgl Main Station. From there, we provide a shuttle bus that takes you directly to our hotel in about 15 minutes (same for the return trip).
So, for example, if you're coming from Vienna, you can take a direct train from "Wien Hauptbahnhof" to "Wörgl Hauptbahnhof", which takes about 3 hours and 45 minutes.
Also, there are direct trains from Innsbruck and Salzburg to Wörgl.
You can easily participate in most of the program in a wheelchair.
However, there's an outdoor session (if the weather is good) and the last 10 minutes of our hike at the end of day 3 can't be easily reached by car.
If you'd still like to join, just let us know and we're happy to brainstorm solutions with you.
You can choose between a double room (single occupancy) or a luxury suite of 100 m2 (double occupancy with a living room, kitchen and two separate bed- and bathrooms).
Our venue is easily accessible by public transportation. We promote using public transit and clearly mark bicycle parking spaces. In a city like Vienna with such excellent transportation infrastructure, everyone can easily take public transit!
Certainly: An event on the scale of uxcon vienna is not sustainable.
We don't want to sugarcoat it, but rather, we want to demonstrate the measures we are implementing now and in the future to make it more sustainable. It's not about claiming to have everything perfect already, but rather an approach to learn and gradually improve step by step.
Find out more about sustainability in the FAQs below.

We're dog lovers, but please ensure your dog is well-behaved and considerate of others. Please don’t forget to bring a muzzle and check with those nearby to make sure everyone is comfortable.
There are changing stations in the main building restrooms. If you need a quiet space for nursing or have any other needs, please let us know before your arrival, and we'll ensure everything is ready for you. We're excited to welcome UX newcomers!

We'll start with a warm-up event downtown on September 18th, have a UX meet-up on the first day of the conference, and finish with sightseeing tours.
There will be sign-ups for those events before the conference, sent out via a link in an email.
Every ticket holder will be notified via email a few weeks before the event about workshop registration details. Workshop slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If there are spots left in the end, we'll do another round, giving you a chance to join a second workshop.
It's important to register in advance for the workshop. Otherwise, on the conference days, you'll only be able to use remaining spots if any are left.
Registration at the event without prior ticket purchase isn't possible. It's best to buy your ticket a few weeks in advance to ensure participation in workshops and smooth logistics.
Yes. It’s at the warm-up event on September 18th. You can already pick up your conference badge there.
You can pick up your badge at the registration desk at the start of the conference.
Please have your ticket handy on your phone.
Expect crowds on day one shortly before the conference starts, so arriving earlier in the morning (between 7.30 am and 8.15 am) would be very helpful.
There'll be a staffed wardrobe where you can drop off your jacket or store a suitcase if you happen to bring one along.
The entire conference area is wheelchair-friendly.
However, the event space for the evening event on day 1 isn't fully accessible by wheelchair (there's a first floor and a rooftop terrace accessible only by stairs). If you'll be joining us in a wheelchair, please feel free to reach out to us beforehand. We can chat about the details and make sure everything goes smoothly for you.
Main stage sessions will be video-recorded, while side stage sessions will have audio recordings.
A ticket can be transfered with prior notice for important reasons.
Sharing a ticket in order to participate on different days is not possible.
