Sustainability
Getting to uxcon vienna is pretty straightforward without a car. The University of Vienna is centrally located at Universitätsring 1, right next to Schottentor, so public transport is the easiest and most sustainable option.
You can reach the venue by:
- U-Bahn: U2, stop Schottentor
- Tram: Lines **1, D, 71, 37, 38, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44
- Bus: Several bus lines stop nearby
If you’re coming by bike, there are bike racks near the university, so you can park your bike close to the venue.
You can also use one of Vienna’s e-scooter sharing services if that’s more convenient for you. Just keep in mind that shared e-scooters are best suited for the last part of your journey rather than replacing public transport for longer distances.
We encourage you to choose public transport, cycling, or walking whenever possible. Since the venue is right in the city centre, you really don’t need a car to get to uxcon vienna.

We don't want to sugarcoat it, but rather, we want to demonstrate the measures we are implementing now and in the future to make it more sustainable. It's not about claiming to have everything perfect already, but rather an approach to learn and gradually improve step by step.

We try to continuously upgrade these measures as best as we can to ensure we meet our responsibilities.
