Information architecture for reusable components and pages

Note: Please bring your own laptop for this session, if possible (not everyone needs one individually).

If your website’s content is a mess, users won’t find what they need. Good information architecture means better UX. This workshop walks you through a step-by-step approach to designing structured, reusable content components and scalable pages. We’ll go from user flows to content model, content priority and modular wireframes, to take design decisions early in a project, without wasting time on high-detail mockups. You will get access to my framework (in a Miro board), that you can re-use for your own projects.

This session is for you if:

  • You struggle with messy content and inconsistent page layouts and need a practical, repeatable method and framework, to help you deal with your information architecture at page and component level
  • You want a cost-effective way, to brainstorm actual content, structure and architecture with colleagues and stakeholders, early in a project, without spending too much time and money on mockups that might get changed 150 times over and over again.
  • You want a structured approach to designing reusable UI components.

Got some juicy gossip?

We’d love to hear it (and any other questions, wishes or suggestions you have).
