At kununu, we introduced an AI feature that helps users quickly understand what hundreds or even thousands of company reviews are saying. I led the design and research for this project and want to share the challenges we faced and what we learned.Imagine you're a designer, and suddenly you're thrown into the AI game for the first time. It's like learning a new language – figuring out how to design when a machine is making decisions.Once you have a solution, the next question is: How can we make sure the AI actually helps users? How do we know it's valuable to them? I'll share some tricks we used to measure user value.Then there's the idea of making AI feel friendly and easy to use.

I want to share what designers can do to make sure people don't feel overwhelmed or confused when interacting with AI. It's about breaking down barriers and making technology feel more like a helpful friend, not a complicated machine.
