UX Game Night – Cards Against UX & more...

UX has given us plenty of methods, frameworks, buzzwords, stakeholder requests, research findings, and questionable design decisions.

Together with our local UX Graz community, we turned them into games.

The main event of the evening is Cards Against UX - our UX-flavoured take on Cards Against Humanity. We'll combine prompts about everyday life in UX with answers ranging from painfully familiar to completely ridiculous.

After a first test run at a UX Graz meetup, we're bringing the game to uxcon vienna. If we have time, we'll also try a few other small UX games and challenges - like icon guessing or UX Feud - or simply continue with great conversations.

Expect stakeholder feedback, design systems, research shortcuts, accessibility, AI hype, mysterious Figma files, and probably a few things nobody should ever say in a usability test.

No preparation is needed. Just bring your experience, sense of humour, and willingness to make some questionable combinations.

We'll meet at the uxcon venue and walk together to a nearby café, around 15 minutes away.

The event itself is free for everyone with a uxcon ticket.

Food and drinks at the café are at your own cost.

Limited to 20 people. Spots are first come, first served.

Venue: Café Diglas im Schottenstift, Schottengasse 2, 1010, 1010 Vienna

Meeting point: Entrance hall (check-in area). The folks from UX Graz are organising a fun night for everyone who'd like to stick around a little longer and wind down in good company.

Got some juicy gossip?

We’d love to hear it (and any other questions, wishes or suggestions you have).
