Pre-conference onboarding (literally)
Can't wait for uxcon to start? Neither can we.
Join us the evening before for a drink, a chat and a first hello to the people you'll be spending the next two days with. No agenda, no name tags on stage – just a relaxed start into the conference.
We're meeting at Badeschiff, one of Vienna's most beloved spots and a really special venue. It's two former cargo barges that were given a second life: instead of being scrapped, they were converted into a floating bar, restaurant and pool, permanently moored on the Danube Canal right between Schwedenplatz and Urania. Several decks, water on all sides, the city skyline in the background – and the sunset over the canal doing most of the work for us.
Address: Wolfgang-Schmitz-Promenade 4, 1010 Vienna (right in the city centre, easy to reach by U-Bahn, tram or on foot)
Skip the morning queue
You can also pick up your conference badge at our early check-in that evening. It takes one minute, and it means you can walk straight in the next morning and head for the coffee instead of the registration desk. Less queueing for you, less queueing for everyone.
See you on the water!

We’d love to hear it (and any other questions, wishes or suggestions you have).
