Nikki Godley is a multi-disciplinary Design Director at Wise, where she leads infrastructure teams: an award-winning, innovative Design Systems team delivering both a brand platform and a product system used by designers and engineers across 80+ countries, and Wise Platform — the enterprise offering that embeds Wise's money infrastructure inside the products of banks and online platforms, extending the mission from millions to billions of users. For over fifteen years she has grown and led cross-disciplinary teams to tackle complex business, cultural and social challenges through research, strategy and design — working best at the intersections: product and brand, quality and speed, business goal and user goal.

Beyond the day job, she's been reshaping what design leadership looks like in practice. She founded Wise's internship and graduate programme, which has grown into one of the company's most celebrated talent pipelines. She conceived and directed Art Meets Science, an invite-only event at the Tate Modern built as a direct alternative to the conference circuit, and runs sponsorship programmes that put Wise's design community in the rooms that matter. Her bias for action and forward momentum has long been described as positively contagious.
